The ResMed S9 VPAP ASV Auto BiPAP Machine with H5i Heated Humidifier delivers pressure at two levels a high pressure on inhalation and a lower pressure for more comfortable exhalation. delivers pressure at two levels a high pressure on inhalation and a lower pressure for more comfortable exhalation with backup rate that provides exceptional patient–ventilator synchrony, featuring Enhanced Easy-Breathe technology for quiet and comfortable therapy.
The S9 VPAP Auto provides Spontaneous/Timed (S/T) therapy, which allows the patient to breathe at their normal respiratory rate. If the patient experiences an apnea or falls below the set rate, the device supports the patient’s ventilation with a set backup rate.
In addition, the S9 VPAP Auto features adjustable breath trigger and cycle, allowing you to accommodate patients with very unique conditions. You can also adjust rise time, which sets the time taken for the VPAP Auto to reach IPAP, to accommodate patients with different ventilatory needs and preferences.
